Glen D. Weinstein

Executive Vice President, Interim CEO


Glen D. Weinstein was named executive vice president and interim CEO in January 2024. Prior to this, he served as our chief legal officer, a role he assumed in August 2012. Glen originally joined iRobot in July 2000 as our general counsel, and was promoted to senior vice president and general counsel in January 2005. Since March 2004, he has also served as our secretary. Prior to joining iRobot, Glen was with Covington & Burling LLP, a law firm in Washington, D.C. Glen holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from MIT and a J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law.

 

 

Julie Zeiler

Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer


Julie Zeiler has served as our executive vice president and chief financial officer since May 2020, overseeing the company’s financial operations, investor relations, facilities and IT organizations. Prior to be appointed CFO, Julie served as the company’s vice president of finance since joining the company in January 2017. In this position, she led the company’s financial planning and analysis, and treasury functions. Prior to joining iRobot, Julie served in a number of senior financial leadership positions at Boston Scientific Corporation from 1996 to 2017 that included its global operations, European business and major product lines. In addition, her experience includes financial management roles at Digital Equipment Corporation from 1987 to 1996. Julie holds a B.A. in Economics and English from Albion College.

 

Julie Bailey

Executive Vice President, Chief Marketing Officer


Julie Bailey was named Chief Marketing Officer in August 2022 and leads the team that drives iRobot’s strategy around marketing and the customer experience. She also serves as the executive sponsor for the Women at iRobot Employee Resource Group. Julie joined iRobot in early 2021 as the company’s Vice President, Global Consumer Experience. Previously, Julie spent 18 years with Digitas North America, where she held a number of senior leadership roles, including as EVP and Head of Strategic Growth for North America. Julie holds a B.S. in Advertising from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University.

 

Jean Jacques (JJ) Blanc

Executive Vice President, Chief Commercial Officer


Jean Jacques (JJ) Blanc was named Chief Commercial Officer in February 2020 and is responsible for leading iRobot’s global go-to market commercial strategy. Previously iRobot’s Vice President and General Manager of EMEA, JJ has over 30 years of commercial management experience. He played a critical role in the acquisition and integration of iRobot’s largest distributor, Robopolis SAS, and significantly grew the company’s business in EMEA. Prior to iRobot, JJ held leadership roles in commercial management at Whirlpool, including General Manager, France and Vice President of Sales, North West Europe. Earlier in his career, he held commercial roles at Phillips. JJ holds a degree from Institut Superieur du Commerce in Paris, France.

 

 

Russell J. Campanello

Executive Vice President, Human Resources and Corporate Communications

Russell J. Campanello has served as our executive vice president, human resources and corporate communications since February 2014. Russ previously served as our senior vice president, human resources and corporate communications from July 2013 until February 2014. From November 2010 until July 2013, Russ served as our senior vice president, human resources. Prior to joining iRobot, Russ served as senior vice president, human resources and administration at Phase Forward, Inc. from April 2008 until September 2010. Russ previously served as senior vice president of human resources and marketing at Keane, Inc., a business process and information technology consulting firm, from September 2003 to October 2007. Prior to Keane, Russ served as chief people officer at NerveWire, Inc. from August 2000 to February 2003. Prior to NerveWire, he served as senior vice president, human resources at Genzyme Corp. from November 1997 to July 2000. Earlier in his career, Russ spent nine years as vice president of human resources at Lotus Development Corporation. He holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts.

 

Tonya Drake

Executive Vice President, General Counsel

Tonya Drake was named executive vice president and general counsel in January 2024. Tonya previously served as our senior vice president and deputy general counsel from March 2020 to January 2024, and as vice president and assistant general counsel from July 2014 to March 2020. Prior to joining iRobot, Tonya was a principal at Fish & Richardson P.C. in Boston. Tonya holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University, a M.S. in Electrical Engineering from MIT, and a J.D. from Boston University School of Law.

 

 

 

 

Jeffrey Engel

Chief Restructuring Officer

Jeff Engel was named executive vice president and chief restructuring officer in January 2024. He is a global turnaround and restructuring advisor with 30 years of c-suite and advisory experience leading successful turnarounds across multiple industries and geographies, including the Americas and EMEA. Jeff holds an M.B.A . in Business Administration from University of Notre Dame and a B.A. in Business Administration from University of Iowa.

 

 

 

 

Faris Habbaba

Faris Habbaba

Executive Vice President, Chief Research and Development Officer


Faris Habbaba joined iRobot as chief research and development officer in June 2021 and is responsible for driving technology development and advanced research to support product roadmaps and the company’s leadership position. Prior to joining iRobot, Faris served as vice president of engineering at Zebra Technologies from 2016-2021 where he managed a global team of more than 1,000 software and hardware engineers, driving innovation and enabling record growth through the scaling of software and hardware products. Earlier in his career, Faris held engineering, supply chain, product management and business leadership roles at Motorola Solutions in North America and EMEA. Faris holds a B.S. in mechanical engineering from the University of Florida and has been awarded more than a dozen U.S. and international patents.

 

 

Charlie Kirol

Executive Vice President, Chief Supply Chain Officer

Charlie joined iRobot as Chief Supply Chain Officer in February 2020 and is responsible for driving strategic direction and operational excellence across iRobot’s manufacturing and supply chain organization. Prior to joining iRobot, Charlie held leadership roles at Sensata from 2015 until 2019, including Senior Vice President, Global Operations and Vice President and Chief Procurement Officer. Before Sensata, Charlie spent seven years at Stanley Black & Decker in roles including Vice President of Global Supply Management – Industrial Segment & GSM COE. Earlier in his career, Charlie spent nine years at General Electric Capital Corporation. Charlie holds a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Florida, an MBA from Indiana University and a certification in supply chain management from the University of North Carolina. He also served as a Logistics Officer in the US Navy and continues to serve as a Senior Supply Chain Officer in the Navy Reserve.

 

 

Chris Jones

Chief Technology Officer

Dr. Chris Jones is our chief technology officer. He has 20 years of experience in robotics research and development across academia, government, and industry. At iRobot, Chris' responsibilities are centered on long-term technology planning and strategy and fostering strategic partnerships to advance the state-of-the-art in practical robotics. Prior to joining iRobot in 2005, Chris was involved in robotics research and development at the Center for Robotics and Embedded Systems at the University of Southern California, the Artificial Intelligence Lab at the University of Zurich, the Intelligent Systems and Robotics Center at Sandia National Laboratories, and the Robotics Research Lab at Texas A&M University. Chris received his Ph.D. and M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Southern California and his B.S. in Computer Engineering from Texas A&M University.

 

 

Barry Schliesmann

Chief Product Officer

As Chief Product Officer, CPO, Barry is responsible for the company’s overall product strategy, including the convergence of physical products with digital products, service offerings, and the smart home ecosystem. Barry joined iRobot in April 2020 and has held roles including Senior Vice President of Floorcare Products and Services and VP of Product Services. Before iRobot, Barry was CPO at Ziosk, where he helped place guest-facing payment, ordering, and entertainment experiences in various major restaurants. As the CPO of LiveTV, he developed and launched a satellite service to provide high-quality video and internet services to commercial aircraft. Barry has also led product management at Motorola Mobility and was the head of interactive technology at Sportvision. Barry holds a Master of Arts in criminology from John Jay College in New York and a Bachelor of Arts from Fordham University.
